可爱的小学校给爸妈的信（补贴：3月20日）

It was somewhat a quiet week but, we had fun in our own ways. In celebrating Easter, we had an egg hunt all over the school in the dark, and each of us managed to get 1! There were some yummy jellybeans in the eggs and we could not wait to sit down and enjoy the,

For English this week, Ms. Angela read us a book titled “Dippy’s Sleepover”. It was a story about a little dinosaur called Dippy who was invited by his friend, Spike, to stay at his house for a night. However, Dippy wet his bed at night and he dared not tell Spike about it. And the next morning, they decided to stay in beds. Little did they know that they both wet their beds while asleep!

We also learnt the letter “j” as well as its phonic sound. We also revised on the other letters that we learnt before.
Theme talk this week was about cleanliness and hygiene. We had to keep ourselves clean so that the germs would not find us. We would have to wash our hands regularly too! We’d also have to drink lots of water to keep ourselves from falling sick. Also, the food we ate might affect our health too and not forgetting about cleaning our teeth too!

For crafts this week, we did comb painting, where we used the comb to create patterns. For dot painting, we used our fingers to dot all over the paper. We tried very hard to not ‘wipe’ our fingers on the paper, and I must say that most of the time, I could do it! We also took turns to wash the doll, dry them and also put clothes on for them! It was like looking after a small baby.

Math this week was more on one to one correspondence where we did sorting of buttons according to its shapes and when we keep, Ms. Angela would ask for either 1 or 2 squares and 1 or 2 circles to see if we could match the amount to the number. Everyone could do it and a few of us could even go up to 3!
