小学校给父母的英文信(6月20日)

Dear Mummy and Daddy,

This week, we had an event and we were dressed like an Indian by using a shawl/sarong to wrap ourselves up. We even had a small flower garland on our wrist and bindi on our forehead. Our highlight of the day? Was to serve tea to the teachers in school! Amanda's parents and Giselle's mummy came and join in the fun too!

右边倒数第三个就是我,如果你看不清楚也没关系,我身上围着的是亚太送给妈咪的纱笼,想不到竟然在这种场合派上用场。

For English this week, Ms. Joanna read us 2 books. One titled “Playful bunny” and the other, “The teddy bear scare”. For letter introduction, it was the letter “w”. Miss Angela played a little game with us where we would be introduced to the word “walk” and “wait”. When she raised the word “walk”, we had to walk. And when “wait” was being flashed, we would have to “stop”. I must say that we fair pretty well for this was the first time we were playing a game like this; except for some of us who couldn’t stop looking at the floor instead of the words.

For math, we did sorting of buttons in accordance to their colours. After which, we get to thread them. Although it’s been some time since we last did threading, we were still pretty good at it.
For art, we did henna drawing on our hand by Ms. Angela. We didn’t have enough and actually had round 2 after our nap! Asher who refused at the first round asked for a square the second time.

That's all the fun we had this week!

Till then, take care!

Much loves,
Funasaurus – Joy
