小学校写给爸妈的信（7月18日）

Dear Mummy and Daddy,

This week alone, we had 2 birthday celebrations! One of which was Giselle’s and another, Ms. Angela’s! This month was really full of celebrations. Hmm… guess there won’t be another birthday celebration till few months later!

This week, we made a trip down to the wet and super market. It was a long walk, but nonetheless, we enjoyed it. While we were being pushed along the biscuits aisle, Sean ‘declared’ very loudly that he liked Pokey! Thanks for bringing money for us. We bought some goodies and we had a little pinic on Friday during our small party outside!

For English this week, we learnt about letter “c”. We learnt how to write it on sandpaper as well as did a colouring on it using crayon! We learnt about the phonetic sound of letter “c” too!


For story, Ms. Angela read us the story “Perky little penguins” where it’s a story about groups of penguins playing together. While playing, they found a baby seal that was lost and very upset. Of course, the penguins cheered the baby seal up and even found the mummy seal!

For math, we did a game whereby we were supposed to jump into the said coloured hula hoop. Everybody performed very well and knows the basic colours well. J

For project, we were brought out to the glass panel to draw what we see from the outside. There’re actually quite a few things that we drew. Like the bus, cars and even people! After our trip to the market the other day, we managed to buy some fruits and vegetable back to the centre. With what we bought, we use it for vegetable printing. Oh yes, over at the market, Rei was pretty good at recognising the vegetables!

亲爱的爸爸、妈妈：

你们好！

一个星期的时间过的很快，转眼间又到了我们聊天的时间。这个星期老师主要是带领我们了解和参观巴刹、超级市场。星期二上午我们在老师的带领下分小组参观了巴刹，对于我们每个小朋友都不陌生，平常是妈妈或婆婆带我们去巴刹，这次是和老师、同学一起去的。老师带领我们来到巴刹，看到巴刹有很多的摊位，有卖水果的、蔬菜、鸡蛋、鸡肉、鱼、虾等等。老师向我们介绍的水果有香蕉、苹果、橙、龙眼、火龙果、荔枝等等，蔬菜有西兰花、番茄、马铃薯、辣椒、青菜、玉米等等，还介绍了鸡肉、猪肉、鱼等等。老师还买了一些羊角豆、杨桃、玉米、西兰花和花菜。

回到学校我们做了用水果、蔬菜压印的手工。在老师的介绍下我们知道了巴刹在我们生活中的重要性和作用。星期四我们参观了超级市场，在超级市场里我们看到了比巴刹更多的东西，除了在巴刹看到的以外，超级市场里有我们喜欢的小食品、饮料、生活日用品等等。我们个人还买了我们自己喜欢吃的零食。爸爸、妈妈我悄悄的告诉你们吧我是自己走着去的，虽然很累，可是我还是坚持自己走回学校，老师说我们好。星期五我们去一野餐，我们吃着自己买的小零食特别的开心。

好了爸爸、妈妈就聊到这里下次再接着聊。下面我向你们我这个星期学习的情况，巩固了对颜色的认识。老师带领我们做形状、配对、数字的游戏，既好玩又增加了我们的记忆力和观察力。下星期我们将去花店参观。
